General Development Order

If you plan to operate a Commercial or In-Home Business in Jackson County, you will need to fill out this application along with the required attachments and fees and submit to the Community Development Office for review.

General Development Application Process

The General Development order must include:

• Completed Application

• Minimum fee of $50.00          From 0 to 2,500 square feet, 3 cents per square foot

• Maximum fee of $10,000.00   More than 2,500 square feet, 5 cents per square foot

Note: The above rates are based on all impervious areas. Fees imposed will be rounded to the nearest dollar amount.
